The Wire Insert Installation Tool is designed for use with fine pitch inserts, which need to have their diameters reduced before installation. This is accomplished by winding the insert through a set of threads called a prewinder, located at the front of the installation tool. The tool is compatible with both free-running and screw-locking helical inserts and can be used with a screw gun. The removable handle allows for easy adjustment of the hex shank.
