Overdriver

The Hellacopters, a Swedish high-energy rock and roll band, released its eighth studio album, Eyes Of Oblivion. This marked the first full-length release since their temporary farewell record Head Off in 2008, which Nuclear Blast Records reissued in October 2024.

Eyes Of Oblivion was met with massive acclaim from fans and media alike, charting #1 in Sweden, #3 in Germany, and #6 in Finland. The band celebrated a triumphant return with a show with Iron Maiden in Gothenburg in July 2022, as well as gigs with Ghost in Germany in June 2023.

On February 16th, 2024, The Hellacopters released two stunning versions of their classic album, Grande Rock, which originally came out in 1999. Grande Rock Revisited included a remastered original version and a remixed and partially re-recorded version, showcasing how the album could have sounded in a parallel universe with Dregen being in the band at the time.

After revisiting Grande Rock, the band set their sights on new material, debuting the phenomenal single "Stay With You" in May 2024. The single was released as a limited 7-inch via befriended ultra-collector Fredrik Magnil’s label, Lightning Records.

Keeping their action rock melodic and powerful, "Stay With You" serves as a strong teaser of the energy, drive, and unashamed hooks and melodies awaiting listeners on their ninth studio album, Overdriver. The album features plenty of roaring guitars, brilliant leads, and earth-shattering grooves.

The release of Overdriver also coincides with the celebration of 30 years of The Hellacopters' history – giving fans more than one reason to crank up the volume until their VU meter bursts!
