Solidus Open

Solidus Open Font Family was designed by Stuart Brown and published by Brown Type. Solidus Open contains 18 styles and family package options. Intended as a companion family to Solidus, Solidus Open has angled terminals which introduce more vigour to the letterforms and take it closer to a classic Grotesque in appearance. Both Solidus and Solidus Open possess the same horizontal and vertical metrics, so they can be used interchangeably to create tonal variation without impacting text flow. Solidus is available in nine distinctive weights from wafer-thin Hairline to a hefty Black, each with accompanying italics. Typical of the Neo-grotesque style the italics are slanted in construction and have the same advance width as the uprights.
