Jupiter

This painting is a close-up, imagined view of Jupiter—thick with movement and color. Broad, swirling strokes build out the atmosphere, from the dark outer edge down into the planet’s storms and bands. You can pick out the Great Red Spot, reinterpreted here with looser, expressive brushwork, and areas of deep blue and green that suggest depth and motion. The color palette stays vibrant and layered, with no sharp lines—just fluid energy, like the planet is constantly shifting beneath the surface. It’s both abstract and familiar, giving you a sense of something massive and always in motion. East Urban Home
