hush

Chad Lawson's hush is his most intimate and understated work to date, a deeply restorative collection shaped by a singular moment of silence at London's Angel Studios. After the final note of the orchestral recording faded, no one in the room moved or spoke. In that shared stillness, Chad Lawson found both the spirit of the album and its name. Rather than offering another ritual, solution, or self-improvement tool, hush makes space to simply be. It feels like a refuge at the end of a day that has taken more than it has given. With real restraint and honesty, Lawson strips each piece back to only what it needs, letting breath, space, and silence become part of the music. The result is his quietest recording yet: immersive, restorative, and gently renewing.
