Jeden z najmniej docenionych albumów wielkiego Prince’a – „The Truth”, pierwotnie został wydany jak część boxu „Crystal Ball” w 1998 roku. Wtedy właśnie po raz pierwszy jego dzieło zostało nazwane albumem akustycznym, mimo tego że zawierał wiele elektronicznych instrumentów oraz elementów, które pomogły usłyszeć fanom jego głos w trochę innym, surowym tonie.
