Z jednej strony "In Spades" - nowy album The Afghan Whigs - to kwintesencja wszystkiego, co dotychczas nagrał zespół (od punka w stylu Die Kreuzen czy Hüsker Dü przez soul jak u The Temptations, do ekspansywnego hard rocka jak Led Zeppelin czy Lynyrd Skynyrd).
