Rough Trade warn you that Water Liars sophomore record, Wyoming, is a completely damaged Americana / rock album from the duo of singer / guitarist Justin Kinkel-Schuster and drummer / vocalist Andrew Bryant that will tug on your emotions, confirm life can be a downer and possibly steer you towards the drinks cabinet. In the past, Mississippi-via-St. Louis duo Water Liars' songwriting has been compared to veterans such as Dawes, Grizzly Bear, and even Fleet Foxes, but their sophomore effort, Wyoming, has more mental meandering and grit than all of the above.
