Wolfpack is a realistic first-person co-op U-boat game where you and your friends man the stations of a German boat. World War II rages on, and your crew has to deal with all the randomized convoys of merchants that come with their own protection in the form of corvettes, destroyers, and sloops. Can you outmaneuver them, sink your target, and escape with your life? The entire crew of the U-boat needs to cooperate in order to fulfill their mission. All players have to man a station, and since this is a highly realistic simulator, Wolfpack was created with manual interaction in mind, so be prepared to pull levers, instruments, and turn valves. Up to five players can play together, as someone has to be the dive officer, the radio man, the helmsman, the navigator, and the captain. Everyone has their own role to play. Dive officers need to control the depth of the U-boat with negative tanks, dive planes, and ballasts. He is also the one that acts as a lookout and gunner for both the anti-aircraft gun and the deck gun. The radio man uses the Enigma machine, the radio, radio direction finder, and the hydrophone. U-boats heading and speed are controlled by the helmsman, that also operates the torpedo data computer. The position of the U-boat is calculated by the navigator, and he decides what's the best route to use in order to intercept the enemy convoy. The entire crew is lead by the captain.
