Two is the second album by British electronic group Utah Saints, released in 2000 after a nine-year gap that nearly ended the project by techno standards. Their 1992 self-titled debut was one of that year’s standout dance records, but a planned follow-up was blocked by ffrr over copyright issues. Two finally arrived as a sharp, sample-rich return. Guests include Michael Stipe of R.E.M. on several tracks, Chuck D of Public Enemy on Power To The Beats, and Edwin Starr. You’ll also hear samples from Metallica, Average White Band, The Pretenders, The Stooges and Joyce Sims.
