This Is...

From the late forties until his death in 1953, Hank Williams redefined country music with songs that became part of America’s musical DNA. This Is ... gathers some of his most loved recordings, spotlighting the raw emotion, sharp storytelling and unmistakable voice that made him a legend. It’s a brilliant way into an artist whose songs still feel immediate and alive. With Jambalaya (On The Bayou), Hey Good Lookin', I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry, Your Cheatin' Heart and Cold Cold Heart, this collection captures an extraordinary run of hits, from tender ballads to upbeat honky-tonk anthems that shaped country, folk and rock for generations.
