Oceansize's Frames was originally released in 2007 and stands as a testament to the UK band's fearless ambition and uncompromising creativity. The Frames sessions marked a turning point for the band, emerging from the shadows of their critically acclaimed yet commercially unfulflled second album, Everyone Into Position (2005). This time, unbound by the pressures of mainstream appeal, Oceansize embraced a newfound freedom, pouring their creative energy into crafting an album that is as challenging as it is rewarding. The result? A record that revels in its expansive, cinematic scope.
