Beam Cottage

Beam Cottage brings together Johnny Flynn and his sister Lillie Flynn for a set shaped by family history, shared songs and a fresh look at Johnny Flynn's catalogue. It opens with the new original The Music of the Spheres and includes Lillie Flynn's songwriting debut, Brockwell Park. There are reworkings of traditional songs alongside versions of Paul Simon's The Boy In The Bubble and Hank Williams' Rambling Man. The album closes with a lullaby written by their father, giving the whole record a real sense of home and connection. Produced by Charlie Andrew of Alt-J, Marika Hackman and London Grammar fame, the lead single The Ghost Of O'Donahue features acclaimed South African vocal harmony group The Joy.
