Zespół powstał w 1986r. jako projekt studyjny, a jego członkowie - wbrew nazwie - nie pochodzili ze Związku Radzieckiego, lecz ze Szwecji, Wielkiej Brytanii i Ameryki. W jego składzie znalazł się m.in. Gary Holton, który niestety zmarł przed finalizacją projektu i John Payne. Na płycie znalazło się kilka coverów, w tym utwór The Eagles "One Of These Nights" śpiewany właśnie przez Payne'a.
