W postprodukcję nagrywanego w Bristolu albumu zaangażowany był także Ben Greenberg (The Men, Hubble, Uniform), a efektem jest bezkompromisowy i imponujący album, łączący południowy rap, z północnym soulem i muzyką gospel oraz tak odległymi gatunkami jak IDM, industrial, grime i italo. Bardziej adekwatny niż kiedykolwiek wcześniej, "The Underside Of Power" jest następcą debiutu z 2015 roku, który przyniósł im pozytywne recenzje na łamach NY Times, Pitchfork, The Quietus i wielu innych. Na płycie pojawiają się takie tematy jak ucisk, brutalność policji, dystopia i hegemoniczne struktury władzy.
