Intended Use
The Dental System is a scanner and software system used for


- Recording the topographical characteristics of teeth by scanning physical gypsum-models or impression-models of full arch mandibular and maxillary dental arches to create sets of 3D scanned models

Storing scanned 3D models




- Designing Dental restorations for use by dentists for patients.




- Access 3D scanned orthodontic models of the patients




- Measure, analyze, inspect and visualize 3D scanned orthodontic models




- Design orthodontic appliances based on 3D scanned orthodontic models

Intended Conditions of Use
Intended to be used in Dental Laboratories and Milling Centers  as well as Orthodontic clinics and Laboratories.
The scanner may be operated continuously in the clinic/laboratory, typically by a trained dental/orthodontic assistant or technician.
The Dental System is used by technicians in dental laboratories for designing and creating 3D restorations on scanned dental models.
The user interacts with the software via a keyboard and mouse or alike human interface devices. The scanner itself is operated from the scanner software and application software except from positioning of models physically in the scanner device.
 
The Ortho Analyzer software may be used by an orthodontic professional to prepare and configure basic information of the 3D scanned orthodontic models. It contains tools for measurements and analysis of the 3D scanned models in order to describe the malocclusion of the patient. It may as well be used as a tool for simulation of a desired treatment outcome by virtually modifying the tooth and jaw positions. 
The Appliance Designer is used by orthodontic professionals in dental laboratories for designing and creating 3D appliances based on scanned orthodontic models.
