Nutella

Nutella is more than a spread—it’s a cultural icon, a spoonful of positivity that bridges generations and borders with the ever-present feeling of nostalgia. A history that spans six decades, from humble beginnings in Italy to a globally cherished treat, Nutella continues to be made in the spirit of its origins: Italian artisanship, seven ingredients, and a timeless invitation to smile. Invented by the Ferrero family, Pietro and then his son Michele, the simple idea of blending hazelnuts with chocolate into a smooth, spreadable dream took on the name Nutella in 1964—and with it, a place at breakfast tables around the world from Naples to Nairobi, São Paulo to Seoul. Giovanni Ferrero, now leading the Ferrero Group into its third generation, keeps looking further, always exploring innovative ways to surprise and delight Nutella fans around the world. Beyond the classic jar, Nutella has created a range of new product experiences: from Nutella&GO! to Nutella B-ready, Nutella Biscuits, and many more. Nutella explores all facets of the signature spread in six chapters: History, Quality, Bread & Breakfast, Versatility, Nutella World, and Iconicity. Discover how Nutella has been able to spread smiles all over the world, through a curated collection of recipes from around the globe. Trace its journey from carefully sourced ingredients to the perfected process behind its unmistakable flavor. Celebrate its legacy through a special anniversary exhibition that brings the beloved spread to life. Nutella is more than a jar—it’s a family story of invention and passion.
