Starpath

Starpath Font Family was designed by Asen Tiberiy Baramov and published by NoCommenType. Starpath contains 7 styles and family package options. The creation of the Starpath typeface was inspired by the inscriptions on alien spaceships in films such as District 9. As every typographer knows, the form of each letter is subject of the historical logic, of the materials used to write and on which it is written or printed. The form is also determined even by the use of writing. The development of the font is the result of literally thousands of years of human practice and the history of human society. In other words - the font is developed by Man. And what would happen if another logic of design, of building the shape of the letter were sought? A logic that goes beyond the logic of human practice. Starpath was created as one possible answer to this question.
