This gritty, violent political thriller starts with FBI Agent Kate Macer (Emily Blunt) discovering some corpses hidden in the walls of an unassuming house in Arizona. Her investigation quickly leads to the drug trade and the border between the U.S. and Juarez. She teams up with Matt (Josh Brolin) and Alejandro (Benicio Del Toro), agents in an unnamed - maybe secret - government agency. The group heads over the border and into the heart of drug-cartel territory, where life can be all but meaningless and murder is business as usual. Will they be able to stem the tide of violence that's right at our back door, or will they be overwhelmed by the powerful criminal gangs who supply drugs to Americans?
