Dovetail Chest In Java

Vaughan Bassett’s Dovetail Chest In Java from the Dovetail Collection is a 5-drawer wood chest built to highlight the natural character of oak. Its Java finish works with the bold grain patterns while visible splits knots and crack details give each piece a reclaimed look created through Vaughan Bassett’s patent-pending accelerated aging process. Crafted in the USA from American White Oak solids and white oak veneers this chest features English dovetail detailing at the top front corners for a distinctive design touch. Custom-designed hardware completes the look and the drawers glide smoothly on self-closing dual steel ball-bearing guides mounted under each drawer. Designed with everyday use in mind the drawer interiors are ultra-smooth for easy loading and unloading. This chest also includes an anti-tip kit and complies with ASTM International F2057 a voluntary stability standard for clothing storage furniture
