Ekster Arabic Variable

Ekster Arabic Variable Font Family was designed by Dhwani Shah and published by Indian Type Foundry. Ekster Arabic Variable contains 1 styles and family package options. Ekster Arabic is an excellent choice for Corporate Design and Editorial Design work. The typeface is a geometric sans serif, and its characters have virtually monolinear strokes. It is a direct option, and the typeface allows users to set texts in a way that makes them look quite contemporary. We gave several Arabic and Latin script characters designs that appear reduced and simplified. That feeling can also be dialed-up by users. For instance, if you want to make the geometric appearance of the typeface even more apparent for readers, you can switch on Ekster Arabic’s many Stylistic Alternates. Those replace Arabic-script letters with glyphs whose designs are even more geometric-looking than the default glyphs. Ekster Arabic’s fonts ship in two different formats. Depending on your preference, you can install the typeface as a single Variable Font or use the family’s five static OpenType font files instead. Those weights range from Light to Bold. While the static-format fonts offer a good intermediary-step selection, users who install the Variable Font have vastly greater control over their text’s stroke width. Ekster Arabic’s Variable Font’s weight axis allows users to differentiate between almost 1,000 possible font weights. That enables you to fine-tune your text’s exact appearance on-screen or in print.
