Memgran

Memgran medical device is a biodegrable, bioresorbable, osteoinduktive porous material htat enables bone tissue growth. The material is made of poly (L/DL- lactide) 80/20%, taking up 80% of L-lactide and 20% of DL-lactide (Purasorb PLDL 8038) by leaching the salt forming pores. This polymer is a catalogue product manufactured dy Corbion N.V. based in Amsterdam (Netherlands). Due to its biocompatibility and non-toxity, Purasorb PLDL 8038 is authorised for use in biomedical products.It is mainly used for the regeneration of clotted or completely destroyed tissues. It is certified ( Master File) by the US Food and Drug Administration. The Memgran product is a processed polymer to obtain the expected porosity (porous microstructure). After processing, the product does not contain any additives.
