W dniach 14-16 października 2009 roku we Wrocławiu odbyła się Międzynarodowa Konferencja EVACES '09 - Experimental Vibration Analysis for Civil Engeneering Structures. Konferencja ta jest już trzecim, po EVACES'05 w Bordeaux oraz EVACES'07 w Porto, spotkaniem naukowców w celu omówienia różnych aspektów związanych z Eksperymentalną Analizą Drgań. Książka, wydana w języku angielskim, zawiera najważniejsze referaty (Keynote lectures) i streszczenia (Abstracts) pozostałych prac powiązanych z poruszaną tematyką. Na dołączonej płycie CD zawarte są wszystkie (około 80) prace prezentowane podczas konferencji.
