Funkcje kontrolna i kreacyjna Sejmu w kształtowaniu polityki zagranicznej Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej

Autor podejmuje problematykę wykonywania przez Sejm funkcji kontrolnej i kreacyjnej w procesie kształtowania polskiej polityki zagranicznej, w kluczowym w historii III RP okresie 1997-2004 r. W tych latach Polska - ze znaczącym udziałem Sejmu - zrealizowała dwa główne cele polityczne sformułowane po zmianach w 1989 r.: członkostwo w NATO i w Unii Europejskiej. Autor bada możliwość wpływu parlamentu (w tym także opozycji) na politykę zagraniczną realizowaną przez rząd demokratycznego państwa. ****** Scrutiny and formation functions of the Sejm in shaping the foreign policy of the Republic of Poland (1997-2004) The author addresses the issues of the Sejm performing scrutiny and formation functions in the process of shaping Polish foreign policy in the years 1997-2004, especially with regard to the involvement of the Sejm in achieving the two main political objectives formulated after the transformation of 1989: joining NATO and the European Union.
