The Powercoil Wire Insert Installation Tool is designed for use with fine pitch inserts, which need to have their diameters reduced before they are installed into the hole. This tool accomplishes this by winding the insert through a set of threads called a prewinder, located at the front of the installation tool. The removable handle allows the hex shank to adjust, and it can be used with a screw gun. It is suitable for installing free-running and screw-locking helical inserts.
