Ekogroszek STABEK is produced from 100% hard coal from KTK mines. We transport coal to our Terminal in Rucianka, where it is subjected to preliminary sorting and transported to a Polfrost Terminal over a distance of 8 km. There, it is subjected to drying, sorting, cleaning and packing in bags. Polfrost has an automated production line and is capable of producing 2 000 pallets a month. Quality of eco-pea coal is controlled at each production stage: •Each batch of coal comes from the same bed, from layers characterized with sinterability of RI=0. •In coal cleaning process contaminants are removed from coal and ash content drop to 8-10%. •Sorting allows from removing both too large and too small lumps of coal. This is the way eco-pea coal with optimum granulation of 10-25 mm is created. •Additional coal drying before putting it into bags guarantees minimum humidity level. •We pack our product in perforated bags from polypropylene (0.13 mm) 25 kg. We put the bags on pallets (80x120 cm) and wrap with stretch foil.
